Our journey together begins with a conversation to understand your project's vision and requirements. If the project is a fit for Gabor Design Build, a sales and design consultant will make a complimentary visit to your home to discuss the project in detail, ensuring we understand your needs thoroughly. We then create a preliminary written scope of work which is emailed to you documenting the conversation and proposed plan with an initial estimated cost of the project.

Design Agreement
With a rough project cost in mind, when you decide to proceed, we will present a design agreement and associated fees. Upon agreement, an architectural designer will visit your property to assess the existing conditions, take measurements, and capture the essence of your space through photographs. We will also have more detailed conversations regarding your functional and aesthetic needs. This information will guide our design process, culminating in 2D design drawings and/or 3D colored renderings for your review.

If the scope, floorplans and designs are all in order, we proceed to create a remodeling contract, including a refined estimate. With the remodeling contract in place, we begin the process of finalizing the construction documents and selections.

Selection Process
Working with an interior designer at our showroom, you will choose all items related to your project like cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, and more. Your project plans are updated to reflect your selections and confirm the functional and aesthetic plan for your renovation. Upon approval, everything is ordered to ensure quality, accuracy and availability to keep the project on schedule.

Before construction commences, you will have a pre-construction walk-through with your dedicated project manager. While walking through the space, we will review all project details with you and our trade partners to ensure everything is covered from logistics to addressing any concerns. This step sets the stage for a smooth construction phase.

Once construction begins, your project manager becomes your main point of contact. They will oversee the project, making regular site visits, providing weekly recaps and forecasts for coming weeks. The project manager is in constant communication with our designers, field crew, and trade partners ensuring a successful outcome. You will also receive a job site binder, containing all project documents and selections, ensuring transparency and organization throughout the project.

We will provide you with a project folder with all your warranty information and possibly schedule professional photographs of your beautifully remodeled space for your files and our portfolio.
