GERMANTOWN, WI (April 2, 2020) –
Our Guidelines for Working in Occupied Homes
We take the health and safety of our clients, team, trade partners and community very seriously. Therefore, it is important that we establish our standard of guidelines while working in occupied homes. Very simply, we recognize the guidelines set by the CDC as our “best practice” approach.
These guidelines apply to everyone on the job site, including homeowners, project managers, carpenters, painters, general laborers, and suppliers. However, since each project is different in scope, duration, complexity and number of people living in the space/working in the space, many of these guidelines will require some modifications through collaborative agreements.
These guidelines can and most likely will change as more is learned about this virus and how we reinvent the way we remodel. We rely on all partners (homeowners, field workers, suppliers, etc.) involved in each project to communicate any changes in health or safety concerns. If you currently have a project going with us, your Project Manager is your point of contact for any safety and health concerns.
We continue to wish you and your families good health, safety, and happiness during this time. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

GERMANTOWN, WI (March 26, 2020) –
We're Here for You
Our team at Gabor Design Build wants to let you know how we are responding to the executive “Safer at Home” order issued by the Governor of Wisconsin on March 24, 2020. Governor Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) are ordering all individuals living in the State of Wisconsin to stay at home or at their place of residence, except as needed to maintain continuity of operation of the federal critical infrastructure sectors, which includes housing construction.
While our office and showroom is closed to the public, we are here to serve you remotely by phone and online.
The well-being of our clients, our team, our trade partners and our community is our top priority. To ensure we are doing our part to flatten the curve we have:
Let’s work through this together… we are adapting in innovative ways to be here for you and want to hear from you – even if you’re considering a remodeling project in the future.
Looking ahead, we will be utilizing Virtual Design Consultations to meet with our customers. We invite you to learn more about this new service that allows you to meet with a member of our talented design and sales team via FaceTime or Zoom and talk about your project. Click here for more information!
We are wishing all of you and your families good health, safety, and happiness during this challenging time. As always, please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

- Encouraged team members to work from home, stay home when they are sick, and practice social distancing (maintaining a 6’ distance between other team members)
- Increased frequency of sanitization around workspaces and showroom
- Made all GDB team members available by phone or email during normal business hours and by appointment
